“Literacy Changes Lives” – Adult Learner Writing Contest

MAKESThe Literacy Coalition of New Brunswick is holding their 6th annual writing contest in celebration of Adult Learner’s Week April 11-19, 2016. We invite adult learners from across the province to share with us stories about how their future will be different because of their adult learning program.

The theme for this year’s Essay Contest for Adult Learners is  “ Literacy Changes Lives”

Contest Submissions

Written submissions should be 300-500 words in length using your favourite form of creative writing: a poem, an essay, a short story, etc.

Who Can Enter

Anyone currently enrolled in an adult learning or adult tutoring program.

Contest Winners

Each winner will receive $100 and from April 13-17, 2016 we will feature each winner on our website and promote their story through local media.

Along with your contest submission, please forward us your name, address and phone number as well as the name and phone number of your adult learning or tutoring program. By entering this contest you are giving the Literacy Coalition of New Brunswick permission to use your name and submission to promote adult learning.
