PGI Community Grant Applications

Each year, the Literacy Coalition issues a call for applications for PGI grants. These grants are supported by funds generated by the Literacy Coalition’s annual Peter Gzowski (PGI) Literacy Dinner and Auction. 

Eligibility criteria to apply for a grant:

  • Be an established literacy group or program, including First Nations
  • Have been operating one year or more
  • Receive direction from a volunteer board

Organizations who meet these criteria may submit an application for a PGI grant when the call for applications is opened. Deadlines will be announced at that time.

NOTE: If you receive a grant, you MUST submit a grant report within one (1) year of receiving the grant detailing how the funds were used. If a grant report is not received, a new application for the following year will not be eligible for consideration.
