Qui peut en faire la demande ?
Les groupes ou programmes d’alphabétisation établis, y compris les Premières Nations, qui sont
en opération depuis un an ou plus, qui reçoivent des directions d’un comité ou d’un conseil
d’administration bénévole, qui répondent aux exigences d’admissibilité et qui font la demande
avant la date limite sont éligibles.

Combien pouvez-vous demander ?
Les fonds disponibles sont limités. Toutes les demandes seront soumises à un processus
d’examen et les fonds qui sont disponibles pour distribution pourraient être moindres que ce
qui est demandé. Si vous demandez des fonds pour plus qu’un seul programme, veuillez utiliser
un nouveau formulaire à chaque fois.

Comment ces fonds peuvent-ils être utilisés ?
Les fonds doivent être utilisés pour des activités reliées à l’alphabétisme ou du matériel
pédagogique pour des programmes existants et ils doivent être utilisés dans un délai d’un an de
la réception du don.

Où est-ce que je soumets la demande ?
Les groupes/programmes anglophones et francophones peuvent tous deux soumettre leurs
demandes en complétant ce formulaire et en le faisant parvenir avant le 1 mars 2018 à la
« Literacy Coalition of New Brunswick Ltd. », soit par courriel lcnb@nbliteracy.ca

Who Can Apply?

Established literacy groups or programs, including First Nations, that have been
operating one year or more, who receive direction from a volunteer board, meet the
eligibility requirements and apply before the deadline are eligible for consideration.

How much can you request?

All applications are subject to a review process and the limited funds (max. $3000 per
application) that are available to distribute may be less than requested. If you are
requesting funds for more than one program, please use a new form each time.

How can the funds be used?

The funds must be used for literacy related activities or learning materials for
existing programs, and must be used within one year of receiving the donation. If your
organization is a successful recipient of funding, a signed and dated, Statement of
Expenditure, must be received by LCNB within one year of receiving the donation.
Applications that are based on providing an essential literacy service, or
developing new and innovative ways to increase literacy levels in New Brunswick, are
eligible:

Eligible costs include, but are not limited to, books, learning materials, special events,
innovative programs, and technology.

Ineligible costs include, but are not limited to, wages, staff meals and travel, office
supplies, and office furniture.

The deadline for submission of the PGI Grant applications is Thursday, March 1,
2018 at 5:00 pm.

Note: If your organization received PGI funding last year, a report on the activities of the
grant must be submitted to LCNB before a new application is considered.
